Technology
Welcome to Design and Technology at Huntcliff School. At Huntcliff School we have purpose built classrooms and workshops which ensure that the lessons we deliver are both stimulating and exciting. We are constantly upgrading equipment and resources to ensure that we remain at the forefront of Design and Technology education.
"Design and Technology is very powerful; like no other subject it can galvanise young people to build on their innate creativity and introduces them to future careers in engineering and design. Without it, we are in trouble." - James Dyson
The Importance of Design and Technology
In Design and Technology pupils combine practical and technological skills with creative thinking to design and make products and systems that meet our needs. Our students learn to use current technologies and consider the impact of future technological developments. They learn to think creatively and autonomously to improve quality of life, solving problems individually and collectively.
