Year 9 is a very important year for pupils at Huntcliff as pupils take their SATS examinations.  In maths this is made up of 3 papers, a calculator paper, a non-calculator paper and a mental arithmetic paper.

SATS exams always take place in the week following the early May Bank Holiday so please ensure that you put this date in your diary and make sure that you attend school during this week.

Your Maths teacher will give you exam papers to practise in the weeks running up to the SATS exams and will ask your parents to help by testing you using mental arithmetic tests provided by the school.

If you want to get extra practise revision guides and practise papers are available from bookshops or can be ordered through school.  There is also the BBC website and SAM learning on the internet.
