Adult Education

Huntcliff School aims to offer a wide range of adult learning courses to suit anyone over 16 years of age. From Yoga to Cookery, Literacy to Jewellery-making, our vision is to provide high quality learning opportunities that are available to all members of the local community.

We constantly strive to improve our adult learning programme, so if you have any suggestions of what you would like to see offered, or if you would like to teach a course yourself, please contact the school.

Lettings

Based within the recently built Saltburn Learning Campus, Huntcliff School has the capacity to offer the local community a wide range of spaces for special events or productions, sports practices, classes and meetings. The campus boasts modern, spacious, state-of-the-art classrooms, a main hall, a meeting room and a sports hall; all available to hire at fantastic rates.

Letting Rates

Sports Hall £30.00 per hour	Full-sized sports hall. Sports equipment may be available to hire. *
Changing Rooms £10.00 per hour	Tiled changing area adjacent to the sports hall with benches, pegs, toilets and shower.
Main Hall £30.00 per hour	A very spacious, well lit main hall area with high ceiling and laminate floor. Equipment such as chairs, lighting, projection, sound and a stage can be made available. *
Large Classroom £22.00 per hour	Light and airy classrooms on various floors of the building with a whiteboard, tables and chairs. A projector and interactive whiteboard can be made available *
Standard Classroom /1 section of the main hall/Conference Room £15.00 per hour	As above but smaller size Or 1 section of the main hall separated by partition walls (equipment note applies as per the main hall*) Or Conference Room suitable for meetings, with large oval table, chairs, sound, a projector and screen. Refreshments can be arranged.
Specialist Classroom £30.00 per hour	Examples include: Art room with tables, chairs, whiteboard and sink. Other equipment may be available upon request * Technology room equipped with tables, chairs, benches, stools, whiteboard. A projector and interactive whiteboard, as well as some machines may be available * Technology room offering cookers, hobs, ovens, sinks, cooking equipment, tables, chairs and a whiteboard. A projector and interactive whiteboard can be available *
Field £15.00 per hour	During winter the field is generally marked with two football pitches During the summer the field is generally marked with a running track, a rounders pitch and markings suitable for athletics Note: markings may vary *
Training pitch £15.00 per hour	A large section of the field appropriate for general outdoor training
Atrium £30.00 per hour	A unique and multi-functional space, with a ramp and two small stairways. It can be used for ceremonial or social functions, or a main entrance or public circulation area, especially useful in conjunction with an event in the main hall or elsewhere. This attractive feature offers plenty of natural light on account of its two-storey high ceiling and generously glazed walls that lead out onto a small courtyard area.
Amphitheatre (in conjunction with main hall or sports hall) £30.00 per hour	A paved open-air venue, set back in the atmospheric campus grounds and surrounded by small trees and flowers—perfect for entertainment and performances.
