Introduction to Huntcliff History Department

Huntcliff School is a Specialist Humanities College and the History Department is proud to be part of this. Specialist status has led to the setting up of enrichment activities, greater work with the community and development of ICT within the Department. The History Department continues to strive to make History a popular and interesting subject where students can achieve exceptional exam results.

During the 2008/2009 academic year History lessons are being taught by Mr Allan (Head of History), Miss Mohon and Miss Luck in our brand new school building.

The History Department would like to congratulate students who completed their GCSEs in the Summer 2008 Exams on their FABULOUS exam results! The History results were again excellent, and this is particularly good news as record numbers of students have opted to take History to GCSE again this year.
