What’s happened so far:

The steel framework has been erected on to the foundations that are complete. Below ground brick work and roofing works have started and the second floor, floor slab has been poured. Your new sports field has been levelled and seeded and will grow between now and next summer.

Works this week:

The steel frame to the secondary school will be completed this week and you will see our bricklayers building the block walls on the 2nd floor to the new maths and art areas. The external walls will start being constructed at 2nd floor level to the same area. You will see our roofers laying the insulation and membrane above the bricklayers.

Safety:

Please be aware that building sites are very dangerous places and we do not wish any of you to get hurt, so please keep out of the construction site. We will continue to keep you updated.                                              BBCNL
