Geography is about people. How we interact, and manage the environment around us and how we interact with each other. Its about the study of different cultures from around the world, learning about, accepting and embracing our differences. We consider why some people are poorer or richer than others and what impact this has upon our society. We ask questions like: Why are some populations growing faster than others? Why do we have world conflict? What affect does this have on the populations who live in conflict zones? Why can people in China only have one child? What will we do when all our natural resources have been exhausted? ![]() ![]() What is globalisation and how does it affect us? ![]() Where do our ipods come from and who makes our trainers? ![]() How does our behaviour have a global impact and affect people on the other side of the world? ![]() What is fairtrade and does it really work? ![]() |
