On the same web site there is ‘Next Step’ which has an extensive list of job profiles, the qualifications needed to pursue them and the personal qualities that are required.

This site is aimed at both parents and young people and if you register you can browse vacancies and get an idea about what an apprenticeship  entails.

This website is aimed at making choices after age 16 BUT if you have a very specific career in mind there is some useful information about what subjects the top 20 universities like to see studied.
